Craig McGarry
Operations Manager / Head Trainer
Completed 21 years service with the Department of Defence (Army), the last 15 of those years primarily as a Physical Training Instructor (PTI)
(retiring as a Sergeant PTI). During this time I have been involved in all aspects of Fitness & Lifestyle Training and Development, including:
- Fitness Training and Education from Recruit level through to Special Forces.
- Fitness & Lifestyle Education for Defence personnel undergoing Promotional Training.
- Extensive Exercise Rehabilitation at Military Hospitals and Training Schools
- Adventurous Training
- Defence Force Gym Facility Management
Left the Army in 2002.
In the last seven years I have undertaken a number of roles linking my experience and passion to both Fitness Training Service and Delivery, my positions have included:
- Forces Projects Consultant: Elite Fitness Equipment – Commercial Division (Servicing the Army, Navy, RAAF, AFP, Police, Fire and Corrective Services)
- Operations Manager – Fitness on the Beach (Burleigh Heads SLSC) / Gym-PT Studio

My Personal Training Philosophy is simple: Hard, consistent training with a focus on activities that a client would not do by themselves.
I believe in Variety in training and an overall holistic balance of all components of Fitness and Health. I believe in fun and challenging training sessions.
Penny Dustow
Penny, from Kingscliff is a qualified and experienced Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor, having worked in the local area and previously on the Gold Coast. She holds her Master Trainers Certificate and is a member of Fitness Australia.
Penny has worked for Casuarina Rec Club for the past 6years. A dynamic Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor, Penny is the main drive behind the very successful 12 Week Challenge.

Gday Craig,
I dont know if you remember me, we served together at Canungra, I was a medic at the RAP. I was wondering if you do personal training, due to my injurys I find it very hard to get and stay motivated. I need to loose weight and regain my fitness.
